Terms & Conditions
RATES
All rates quoted on this site are subject to availability. All rates are inclusive of GST and quoted in Australian dollars. By using the rates quoted on this site you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates as quoted are per room per night on a room only basis, unless specified.
Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in or the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Guests will be notified where possible of any increases.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check in time is 2.00pm and check out is 10.00am. We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure.
PAYMENT
Online bookings require payment in full. Phone bookings require 50% deposit, charged at the time of booking with the outstanding balance due 21 days prior to arrival. ECV will accept payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Credit Card. Please note we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards only. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards. A valid credit card number is required for security on all bookings made, without exception.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you cancel your booking 21 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival at ECV, your deposit will be refunded minus the first night's tariff. If cancelled or modified within 21 days the full tariff will be charged. Where a deposit has been paid over our peak periods the deposit is non-refundable. ***Peak periods include Christmas holidays (December 18 - January 31), Easter and long weekends.
BEHAVIOUR AND NOISE POLICY
We are located in a residential neighbourhood. Please respect our neighbours and other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm. A charge of $300 will apply if management deem it necessary to ask guests to cease unreasonable noise after 10.00pm.
We reserve the right to request people who are making too much noise at any time of the day or night to leave. No refunds will be applicable. A security company or police may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour. Any charges incurred by the security company or police will be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking. ECV has a 'No Party' policy, whereby group bookings or bridal parties are not accepted. Elopements and weddings at management discretion pending availability.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Management also reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will automatically be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking following at least one attempt to contact the credit card holder.
LOST KEY POLICY
Keys that are not returned will be charged to the credit card supplied. A $25 charge will apply if keys are lost.
SMOKING
All rooms are non-smoking inside, ashtrays are provided for outside use only. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management.
PETS
Not permitted.
CAR PARKING BIKES KAYAKS HORSES FIRE PITs
Visitors cars are not permitted within the village and to be parked in visitor parking only. Quad bikes, dirt bikes, off road bikes not to be ridden in the village. Bikes and kayaks are for guest use only. Helmets and life jackets are provided by ECV and must be worn at all times when using the equipment. Kayaks are to be used for the creek located on the property only and not taken off site. Horses are for private use kept within electrified fencing, not for hire. Guest interaction outside fenced area at own risk. Fire pits are permitted within fire season only or at management discretion. Fires to be fully extinguished by guests after use.
EARLY DEPARTURE
No refunds will be given on early departure and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.
TRADING TERMS
ECV reserves the right to release any or all room space if payment terms are not met.
PRIVACY POLICY
ECV is subject to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
We will generally collect personal information about you directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone or by letter or e-mail. Normally, the type of personal information collected by us will include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:
To provide marketing information to you about our products and services
To monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests.
If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe.
If you choose to send email messages to us that contain confidential, private or personal information, you do so entirely at your own risk.
GOVERNING LAW
The Law of Western Australia governs your use and occupation of the property during this reservation. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Western Australia.
COPYRIGHT
The information, text, graphics, images, sounds, links and all other information and software published or otherwise contained on this site ("the contents") are the exclusive property of ECV and, except as authorised on this site, may not be copied, distributed, displayed, reproduced or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of ECV.
DISCLAIMER
ECV strives to ensure that the contents of this site are accurate and reliable. However errors and/or omissions may occur, ECV disclaims any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, as to any matter whatsoever relating to this website and any links to or from this website, including, without limitation, warranties as to merchantability, non-infringement of intellectual property, or fitness for any particular purpose.
ECV does not warrant the accuracy, currency or completeness of the contents, including, without limitation, any information relating to prices or availability. ECV will from time to time revise the contents and/or the products, services and resources described on this site, and reserves the right to make such changes without any obligation to notify past, current or prospective visitors or users of this site.
LIABILITY
ECV shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of the use of (or inability to use) this website or its contents. Upon payment and confirmation of your booking you acknowledge that ECV is not liable to you for any loss, damage, injury or any incidental, idirect, special, consequential or economic loss or damage (including loss of opportunities, exemplary or punitive damages) whether to person or property and whether arising from default, negligence, misconduct or otherwise by ECV, our employees or our agents and you indemnify ECV against all claims.
FORCE MAJEURE
ECV will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, fire, flood, pandemic, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of ECV.
